Sicily Atelier is operated by Bella Apparel Group LLC. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you place an order, create an account, or contact us, we collect your name, email address, postal address, phone number and order details.
Payment information. Card details are entered directly into our payment provider's secure systems. Sicily Atelier does not receive, store or have access to your full card number.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our site we collect your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring website, the pages you view and the time spent on them.
Cookies and tracking technologies
We use the following on this website:
- Shopify — essential cookies for cart, checkout and session management. These cannot be disabled without breaking core site functionality.
- Google Analytics — aggregate traffic and behaviour reporting.
- Google Ads and Google Merchant Center tags — conversion measurement and remarketing.
- Meta Pixel — conversion measurement and advertising audiences on Facebook and Instagram.
You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent checkout from functioning.

Who we share information with
We share personal information only with parties who need it to deliver our service:
- Shopify — our e-commerce platform and order management system
- Payment processors — to authorise and settle your payment
- Shipping carriers and our fulfilment centre — to deliver your order
- Email service providers — to send transactional and marketing email
- Analytics and advertising providers — as listed above
We do not sell your personal information.
Some of these providers are located outside Australia, including in the United States. Where personal information is disclosed overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Marketing
If you opt in to marketing email, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the foot of any marketing message, or by emailing support@sicilyatelier.com. Unsubscribing does not stop transactional email about orders you have placed.
Data retention
We retain order records for seven years to meet taxation and record-keeping obligations. Marketing contact details are retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to the provider's default retention settings.
Your rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to retain it. Email support@sicilyatelier.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our handling of your personal information, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au.
Security
We use SSL encryption across the entire site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access.
Children
Our website is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page with the date it was last updated.
